About Us

ACT

ACT was established in Istanbul in 2003 within the AQUAMATCH group in order to serve in the fields of water and wastewater treatments. Since its establishment ACT provides water treatment systems for metallurgy, glass, paper, textile, petrochemical, industries, powerplants, hotels and recreational facilities, agricultural irrigation, drinking water, industrial wastewater recycling, domestic wastewater treatment.

AQUAMATCH is ranked at 18th rank among 20 top Water Tretament System Suppliers around the world according to survey realized by GWI and hires more than 250 personnel who work in the design, project, production and installation stages. A very important slice of this staff have master or bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical and mechanical engineering or they are skilled technicians. Women who are among the staff share a ratio of over 50 %. This ratio maintains the same level also in the top management positions of the group. In addition to designing treatment projects, AQUAMATCH supports research, development, social benefit and socioeconomic development initiatives in the field of water.

ACT is a part of the dealer structure of AQUAMATCH Group. The most important benefit of this structure for the customer is a fast and flexible organization and close follow-up of the demands. Thus, projects are concluded quickly. Likewise, maintenance, repair and spare parts procurement issues that may be required after the sale are followed in the same way and quickly terminated. This organization enables to achieve the desired high level of customer satisfaction.

The successful results of the system enabled the establishment of the Bursa-based BCT office in order to provide closer service to the local customer portfolio of the region, and recently the Gaziantep branch was inaugurated in 2020 within the BCT. We provide local installation and after-sales maintenance and support services in the most efficient way with our connections abroad.

ACT, as a company where more than 50 % of its managerial staff and engineers are women and has adopted the principle of advocating gender equality and equal pay.

MELİH M. ARIKÖK

GENERAL MANAGER

He graduated from Private School Of Pharmacy in Istanbul with a bachelor's degree. He founded the AQUAMATCH in the 1990's, established ACT situated in Istanbul in 2003, BCT situated in Bursa in 2004, Holds both companies GM position. Both companies work under the AQUAMATCH Group.

NİHAL SEVİNDİK

PROJECT SUPERVISOR

She graduated from Samsun 19 Mayıs University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. She joined ACT in 2003. She is currently the share holder of the ACT SU VE ATIK SU ARITIM A.Ş. and carries out Project Management functions.

TUBA IŞIK

SALES AND PROJECT

She graduated from ITU with a MSc. degree in Environmental Engineering. She carries out Sales and Project processes within ACT where she joined in 2008.

ZAFER KOÇYİĞİT

SUPERVISOR

He graduated from Samsun 19 Mayıs University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. He has been working as a Site Engineer and Supervisor in ACT where he started working in 2014.

INTERNATIONAL SALES

He graduated from Bogazici University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He carries out International Sales processes in ACT where he joined in 2018.

ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS

She graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences with a degree in Business Administration. She carries out Accounting and Administrative Affairs processes at ACT where she joined in 2016.
