11.1. BATIK TİP MBR SİSTEMLERİ

Membrane Bio Reactors (MBR) is a technology that provides water by high efficiency water treatment using aerobic biological treatment together with membrane filtration. MBR units are compact and mobil structures.

Submerged type MBR is a system where MBF membranes are submerged in a tank. In this method smaller membrane tanksa re used instead of sedimentation tanks of the classical systems. Essentially the system consists of Coarse Screen, Aeration Tank where the biological treatment takes place, MBD tank that holds the MBR modül, Final Disinfection and Product Water tank.
