11.2.ULTRAFILTRATION SERIES

UF modules are 0.02 micron precision (similar to MBR membranes). However they do not perform a treatment connected to a bioreactor.

Main Features:

Complete removal of suspended solids (TSS).

Partial removal dissolevd solids (TOC, COD, BOD – as linked to suspended solids)

Removal of Microorganims:

> Log6 ( bacteria removal)

> Log4 ( virus removal)

As UF membranes can do filtration both inwards and outwards it is possible to backwash. This eliminates the risk of clogging. In addition to this, the system has the automatic chemical wash aspect. Due to the fact that the system is on skids, there is not a individual intervention to the grey water.
