12.2. Coarse filters

Automatic Separator Sediment Filters: Seperator Filter systems work according to the press to remove solids and particles with a specific gravity higher than water from the water by the effect of centrifugal force. Particles collected in the lower chamber of the filter are emptied manually or automatically. The water separated from the particles is drawn upwards by the vortex in the middle of the separator and passes to the outlet line.

Automatic Backwash Mechanical Filters: Mechanical Filters are filters that are used for filtration sensitivity of 100 micron and above in well waters and mains waters with relatively low physical pollution and automatically backwashing.
