2.2. Active Carbon Filters

The color, taste, odor and residual chlorine in the water will be removed by filtering through layers made of activated carbon and it will also prolong the life of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) System by protecting the membranes. Activated carbon filters will be automatically backwashed once a day.
