9.2. Disinfection Systems By Ozone

Ozone is produced by passing oxygen or air at the high voltage or electric current. Ozone cannot be stored or subjected to long-term transport since it is not a stable gas. It must be produced where it will be used. Ozone generators are used for this purpose. "Oxygen-rich gases" used in ozone production are dry air and oxygen. The air must be filtered and dried completely before being fed into the ozone generator.
