Softening systems
are systems that remove the hardness of the water by taking the calcium and
magnesium ions in the water with the resin inside from the water with the
principle of ion exchange. When the ion exchange capacity of the resin in the
tank is full, regeneration is performed automatically with the brine in the
salt container and the resin is renewed. Approximate regeneration time in
single systems is approximately 2 hours. In tandem systems, uninterrupted soft
water is provided with two separate resin tanks.
